Wootton Bassett Hockey Club (established 1959) near Swindon in Wiltshire is a successful club
running mens and ladies hockey teams and a very active junior hockey development programme. 
 
Our ladies' teams play in the West Clubs Ladies League: the 1st XI in the North Division, our 2nd XI in Severn Division 1 and our 3rd XI in Severn Division 3.  
Our men's teams play in the West of England & South Wales Hockey League: the 1st XI in the Avon Division and our 2nd XI in Wiltshire & NE Somerset Division 2. The 3rd XI (our development team) plays in the Wiltshire Badgers League, providing opportunities for our vets to pass on their experience to our aspiring 1st XI players.  
Our Youth development programme continues to thrive, with coaching every Sunday morning at Wootton Bassett School and Colts matches against other clubs from the Swindon and Wiltshire area during the season.

On 11th April we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the Ladies Hockey Club in Wootton Bassett. This included a game against the England Ladies Masters team. Click here for full report and photographs.
