Pauls Bio

 Paul Wells began playing drums at the age of ten in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. He moved to the New York area to study jazz at William Paterson University and has since performed and recorded internationally with a diverse selection of artists including Debbie Harry, Joe Williams, Norman Simmons, Randy Brecker, Eric Alexander, Joel Frahm, Larry Goldings, Rufus Reid, Mark Murphy, Rick Margitza, Dave Valentin, Houston Person, The Duke Ellington Legacy, Glen Burtnik, and Spiraling. Paul is a contributing writer for Modern Drummer magazine and endorses Pro-Mark drumsticks and Istanbul Agop cymbals.
