Music has been a big part of Davis' life from a very young age. Blessed to be influenced by a musically gifted family, Davis began taking piano lessons. At the age of 10, he picked up the clarinet and later the trombone in his high school band. Davis then found his musical calling at the age of 13 when he began playing the bass in his high school jazz band and in his church. When Davis turned 18, he was asked to join The Little Brother Band after a rehearsal with Wes and Tyler showed his special ability to create a tight feel with his brother. This latest addition to the group has solidified the feel and the unique sound of the band. Davis continues to play both bass and trombone regularily at Northside Church in Port Coquitlam, BC. Davis also plays bass with Greylevel, a progressive rock band out of Richmond, BC.
Davis' biggest inspirations on the bass include bass greats such as Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, Rocco Prestia, Richard Bona, and most
notably, Abraham Laboriel. One of the highlights of his life is getting his picture taken with Abraham Laboriel at a jazz club in
Seattle. Along with these inspiring players and his passion for the bass, Davis brings a unique feel to this talented group.
