Film Festivals Submission Tips

All Film Festivals provide a great opportunity to get your film out there.
However, there are someissues you should confront before of sending your masterpiece to a handful of festivals.

1. Edit. Then Edit that. Then Edit that again. End by editing again. Then edit the credits.

2.Do not stretch the film just to fit a certain time length (For example: a 60 minute film that could have conveyed the same idea in 30 minutes).

3. A shot or sequence that you love serves no purpose if it doesn't progress the story.
(For example: a two minute shot of someone walking away into the distance)

4. Sound is SO important. Again. Sound is crucial. (Hire someone if you have to)

5. If you make films, we love you. Continue making films as you certainly progress each time.
