Financially depleted emotionally drained

Have I not been a good steward of my dividends

Or walked through a door that I shouldn’t have been

Why their grandmother is dying of cancer

Wondering if things will ever be the same

If I deny my flesh and strive for holiness and righteousness

And learn how to only seek His face and not His hand

Then I can understand His plan for me

But I’ve found that Jesus Christ is more than enough

So I need to stand strong and face the heat
