Fayette was found in West Virginia wandering around the highway.  She was skittish and extremely emaciated when approached.  When Animal Control was called her soon to be rescuer's were told it was "after hours" and nothing could be done at that time.  After some coaxing with dog food she was finally gotten into the vehicle and headed for Virginia.  A local convenience store worker said, "Several calls about the dog had come in over the radio in the past weeks but nothing was ever done."

      She is now residing in my home and we are trying to nurse her back to health.  The dog has had a pretty rough go of it so far in life.  But is learning to enjoy her now frequent meals of chicken and rice.  The problem is they are so frequent we won't be able to afford them for long.  We'd also like to take her to see a vet and get her a clean bill of health.

      I'm appealing to friends, fans and family to give me a hand with this by setting up a donation through the website to help Fayette get back to health.  Everyone and anyone who sends a donation of any amount will receive a message from me to your email address (please provide one) to download my whole first album free of any charges.  The top 3 donations will receive a physical copy of the album signed by me.  This will be ongoing until she is better.  Any amount over what is needed for her care will be donated to the S.P.C.A.

     I will be continually posting pictures and letting everyone know how she is progressing through this website.

     My hope is that together we can get her back to health and give her some hope that not all humans are neglective people.  I don't want to make a dime on this, I just want her to be better.  As is evidenced by the fact I'm a strict vegetarian and have been cooking chicken for 2 days.  :)
