Bio
Believe it or not, Kristy's creativity started as a writer at a very early age. She took to writing poetry when she was just 7 years old. Her 2nd grade teacher wanted to hold her back a grade because she did not socialize like the other children in her class. Instead of playing tetherball and swinging on the monkey bars, she instead favored the idea of dancing down the hallways, singing songs to herself, and making up skits with the children on her block after school. Kristy finally found her outlet when she entered her school talent show in the 6th grade singing a medly of "Tomorrow" from Annie and "My Favorite Things" from the Sound of Music.

Her High School years were spent at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as the only country singer in the history of the school. By her senior year, she had a single that was recorded in Nashville under Sundial Records and produced by Danny Day. This single reached number 11 on the independant charts and received nationwide radio airplay. She was also a solo artist at the Grand Ole Oprey for the Hank Snow show and was given an open invitation to return.

When Kristy graduated High School, she was then under Management by Linda Kaye, and under the production of E Team Productions. Country music headed a different direction during this time, so Kristy returned home and worked on the music that was always her first love, Blues and Jazz.

Kristy became the April finalist for the 2004 Fabulous Finds contest for the Fabulous 570's radio station. Though the radio station was bought-out before she could ever perform in the finals, she did gain interest in quite a few names in the L.A. Jazz industry working with great artists such as Ralph Penland, John B. Williams, Carol Robbins, Gerald Pinter, Otmaro Ruiz, and Charles Moore.

Though this does not fully encapsulate all of Kristy's accomplishments, we hope that this gives you a small extent of what she has done and where she continues to grow as an artist.

Stay tuned for upcoming events and showcases in the future for this great jazz vocalist.
