I first heard tracks from this wonderful CD on MySpace and put in an order for it soon after. *Paradise Swamp* is one of the most listener-friendly Fusion records I have heard in ages. Whereas a lot of musicians of this genre often become self-indulgent, favouring pyro-technics above taste, Cathererine has managed to blend all musical ingredients just right and came up with a superb album. Catherine's melodic compositions and interesting arrangements are the perfect vehicle for her fluid and soulful guitar style that aims straight at the heart with every note. As if her prowess on the guitar isn't enough, Catherine is also an accomplished keyboardist. The energetic support of her husband Kevin on drums, along with three different bass players on various tracks make *Paradise Swamp* a musical treat that will surely please the most discerning listener.
