The Bump in the Road Band has been selected to perform at the St. Petersburg Pier on Sunday,  December 13, from 1p.m. - 4p.m.

The afternoon musical festival is part of their "Music on the Waterfront" Holiday entertainment.  This event is a very family oriented activity where all ages can come out, enjoy the weather, the water, good food and shopping and some terrific music.  Music selections will be many hits of popular artists as well as some of the Holiday standards generally enjoyed during the Holiday season.

Jonnie, Pete and Eli look forward to seeing you and providing an afternoon of music and good cheer.  Joining the Bump in the Road Band for this event will be Wes, our fourth member who provides drums when the occasion calls for more punch in large outdoor venues like the Pier.  Make sure you catch his talent.  We will leave Capt. Morgan, our electronic drummer home for this event, and we guarantee you won't be disappointed with Wes's outstanding skills.

• We are now taking requests for your Holiday parties as we approach December.
•  Be sure and check out the Song List page for new songs that are added each week.
• Now booking for Jan/Feb/Mar 2010.  Get on the calendar before all the prime weekend nights are booked.
• Entertainment does not have to be expensive, book a trio and get an afternoon or evening of value packed entertainment. 
• New Year's Eve is also available for anyone looking to provide a special evening of music and fun!
• We have now secured a 4th member when the event calls for a live drummer.  90% of the time, our electronic drummer (Capt. Morgan) surfices, but if the larger venues prefer more punch, then we bring in the artillery.  After all, Morgan can't handle "Wipe Out". We still operate as a trio the majority of the time in order to meet more budgets but we are ready if called upon.  Ask us about our mystery man on the skins!
• The clubs that are linked to this site appreciate your business.  Be sure to stop in when you are in their area.

Our featured club of the week is Barnacles Seafood Grill & Sports Bar. This hot spot is located in Brandon, FL  just off of Providence Rd near the Brandon Town Center.  The facility boasts 450 TV's for all the sports action you could possibly want to see on any given night.  In addition, a separate pool room has 8 tables and an adjacent game area for the younger set.  A true family environment, the owners, Chuck & Margo have created activity for the entire family.  There is music on the patio on Wed-Sat nights and the menu offers variety at family friendly prices.  This was the first club that hired the Bump in the Road Band and we will always be grateful for the opportunity to play and get to know many of the regulars who visit each week.  Check it out, you will enjoy the atmosphere, a value menu and friendly staff.
