I began my local music endeavor in 1979 during high school and never turned back until 1991 when my mother became ill with terminal cancer. This is the time period that I personally believe was the peak of the Boston underground music scene. I recently had seven radio shows from WECB 640 AM Emerson college digitized from audio cassette. The show was called "Bright Lights" , named after The Outlets amazing "45" with the flip side "Best Friends" on the Modern Method label. This was circa 1985-1986. I also worked as an assistant on the local music show "Metrowave" on WERS 88.9 FM during this time period giving the concert report and helping with the live on-air shows.
