Here is the place that James Berkowitz will be sharing his poetry, writing, spoken word, films, guest interviews, performances, upcoming events, and dj appearances. He is a published poet, writer, event producer, and independent filmmaker that is grateful and honored to be living at a time that avails the marvels of technology for this path of communication via self/artistic expression.
James Berkowitz, aka Berky, writes inspirational, spiritual, romantic, political, and philosophical prose and poetic works that elevate the soul. He has also expanded his writing repertoire into the short story form in which he transforms the trials and tribulations of life into comedy and plans to make films from some of the selections.
Inspired deeply by music, sound, vibration, photography, dance, art, painting, film, literature, and sculpture, James Berkowitz breathes musically poetic words into his visual writings. He also plays guitar and has composed music to his poems as well as Langston Hughes and Walt Whitman.
