I'm so glad you came to visit us and pray that you see the hope that Jesus gives us when you read these pages.  The
Bible tells us in 1 Peter to ALWAYS be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks, a reason for the hope that is
within us.  It is in that spirit that we write on these pages, that we sing the songs and write the lyrics that tell about that
hope.  If people leave their email addresses and names, I answer every email, too - praying always that you can receive
Christ in you, the hope of glory!

Gosh, almost Thanksgiving again - one of my favorite days.  We do thank God for all of you - and for all that Jesus is doing in our lives.  Again, my son Johnny has directed us to the scriptures about Jesus making all things new (2 Cor.5:17).  That means that my new nature is already at work in the world and when I fight old bitternesses or addictions, I'm no longer "fighting myself," because I am a new creation in Christ. It doesn't mean we don't fight off things, of course - we all do. But it helps to know that those are not things that are part of my true self anymore.  It's just stuff I need to shrug off so that I can be the "real me" in my new life.
